Hook & Ladder 2021 Chardonnay, Russian River Valley

Cecil De Loach has been farming Russian River Chardonnay for over 30 years. Today, his son carries on the great tradition with this perfectly balanced medium bodied, bright and creamy effort that is a steal for twenty bucks! Lovely fresh lemon, soft yellow apple, and a touch of pineapple combine with a hint of citrus blossom and farm fresh cream with a hint of toast. Round and silky on the palate with bright acidity and a bright, lingering finish. This Chardonnay is medium bodied and right on point with grilled shrimp and creamy polenta.
