Aromas of golden delicious apple, asian pear, with a palate of lychee, and meringue and spring wood. Our neutral oak fermentation lends to the creamy round mouthfeel of this wine and the long finish is accented by a crisp clean lemon zest acidity.
They press off this pinot gris right after picking and ferment 50% in a 1600 gallon French oak barrel. The wine stays on the lees throughout fermentation. This and the large oak barrel we use give the wine more texture and creaminess and is a nod to a more Alsatian style.
