Iruai 2022 Cabernet Franc "Tierra Extrana", Rogue Valley, California

This 100% Cabernet Franc has roasted dark fruit notes, blackberry being the most pronounced. The vegetal characteristic expected in Cab Franc is there but come off more like dried tobacco leaves than green or white pepper. The fruit is overall soft, would be fun to chill this down before drinking.
