Talai Berri 2022 Finca Jakue Getariako Txakolina, Basque Country Spain

Produced from 100% Honarribi Zuri grapes, this is from the most prized vineyard in the estate.  All terraced, south-facing vineyards planted high on the hillsides overlooking the famed Camino de Santiago de Campostela, from which the vineyard takes its name.  Bottled with the typical spritz left in the wine, it combines the zesty, freshness we expect from the area with a bit more unctuous texture showing notes of lychee and summer stone fruit, the yellow straw-colored wine has a perfect balance of high-toned acid and fresh melon fruit.
