This wine is made from grapes from six parcels of vines blended together. It has a lovely balance of fruit within a light framing of oak. It has an intense bouquet of chalk and white flowers with a touch of sea spray. A very well-balanced palate, making a lively entry of orange peel, Granny Smith apples, flint with a faint fennel tang. This is a very fine Saint-Aubin. Pair with poultry, firm fishes, lighter Asian cuisine.

Joseph Colin is one of four children. His father is Marc Colin, the renowned Burgundian producer. Joseph owns vines in Saint-Aubin, Santenay, Chassagne and Puligny. Following his brother's departure in 2005, he invested time in the family domain, domain Marc Colin, and worked with his younger brother and sister. Recently, Joseph began producing wines under his own name. In Burgundy tradition, he inherited some of the finest parcels from the family's domaine. It wasn’t until 2017 that he farmed all of his seven hectares. He now produces 19 cuvées, all very high quality and noteworthy.
