Judith Beck 2020 "Beck Ink" Natural Red, Burgenland Austria
80% Zweigelt and 20% St. Laurent, this red blend had 10-days of maceration and was aged in neutral barrels for 9-10 months and is unfined and unfiltered.
Rich notes of blackberries and black plums create a juiciness in the profile. There is a hint of brett and barnyard, not enough to takes over your palate, but does serve as a mid-palate break from all the rich fruit.
