Lebeau-Batiste N.V. 'Tradition' Champagne Brut

The family that owns this winery have been farming grapes in Champagne since the 14th century. Made from 60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir and they only produce 800 cases total annually. Tradition is a great name for this cuvee as it has plenty of that bready, toasty aromas and flavors that so many people think of when they think of Champagne. Stone fruit, creamy mouthfeel and the smallest little bubbles. Brilliant at this price.
