Mas de Boislauzon 2023 Vin De France Rose "La Chaussynette", Rhone Valley

Located in Chateauneuf-du-Pape Mas De Boislauzon has some vineyards that lie outside the region and this Rose is actually made from grapes from in and around Cotes Du Rhone. Made from 75% Grenache and 25% Mourvedre. Very minimal intervention here, this is a fresh and crunchy little Rhone Rose and it depicts the 3 family members that lead the team making the wines. More berry than melon and with a bit more meaty notes and structure provided by the Mourvedre. Aged in concrete tanks which keeps the acidity and freshness. Gulpable.
