Masseria Setteporte 2021 'N'ettaro' Etna Bianco, Sicily

The white and red wines from Mt. Etna in Sicily are recognized as some of the most exquisite, terroir driven wines in Italy.  The vines are grown in the volcanic soils at elevations ranging from 2k-4k feet and usually on the north side of the mountain.  Setteporte’s vineyards are on the south side producing elegant and focused wines.  Their Etna Bianco is straw-yellow in color and has aromas of white flowers, citrus, and a hint of minerality.  It’s both precise and complex with flavors of ripe pear, lemon zest, and a touch of salinity followed by a crisp, mouthwatering finish.
