Winemaker Notes

The Brunello di Montalcino Molino di Sant'Antimo represents the maximum expression of Molino di Sant'Antimo's products. The careful selection of the grapes, Sangiovese in purity, their vinification with appropriate techniques and their continuous control during the long aging in oak barrels with a capacity of 60 Hl. allow you to appreciate the exceptional qualities of this wine. Its color is ruby red, the fruity and spicy bouquet, an aromatic and velvety flavor that is particularly elegant and persistent.

Critical Acclaim

94 pts James Suckling: A very pure, transparent Brunello with cherries, plums and some flowers. It’s full-bodied, tight and linear with firm, racy tannins and a fine finish. Needs time to open. Better after 2024.
93 pts Wine Enthusiast: Red-berry, star anise, pressed rose and balsamic herb aromas lead the nose. Linear and savory, the elegantly structured, focused palate offers tart sour cherry, blood orange and licorice alongside taut, refined tannins. Bright acidity keeps it light on its feet.
The Wine Country.
