Moulin de Gassac 2019 Vin de Pays d'Herault Guilhem Blanc, Languedoc
Moulin de Gassac wines were created by Aime Guibert,, founder of Mas de Daumas Gassac, in the 1990's. These wines were created to preserve specific land parcels that reflect Languedoc terroir, and offer fine wines at exceptional values. Grapes for Moulin de Gassac's white and rose wines come from selected parcels along the Thau lagoon around the village of Pinet. This is very special terroir, benefiting from the close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea.
This wine is a blend of 40% Grenache Blanc, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Terret Noir. The wine underwent a slow and cool maceration with skin contact for 2-3 hours, and spend 5-6 months maturing in stainless steel tanks.
Very lively!! Aromas of yellow field flowers, golden apples, yellow plums, with citrus notes of grapefruit. Fresh and vibrant on the palate with lovely fruit and acidity. Pair with chicken, veal, salads, river fish, smoked trout.
