Old Westminster 2022 Rose, Maryland

As your Rose buyer for about 20 years now I can say that this is the first one from Maryland that we have ever had, or tasted for that matter. Don’t go thinking I brought it in as some kind of novelty, not a chance, this wine is absolutely beautiful from the package to the last drop. Made from Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chambourcin this is a delicate colored Rose that is misleading as the fruit here is quite saturated, round and intense. The first time I took a bottle home it was gone in less than two hours as it is so damn easy to drink and crave another sip of. Plenty of racy acidity here too, so think lighter foods, salads and fresh cheeses.
