I confess that while the Commanderie Cuvee from Cotes De Provence under the Peyrassol label gets the most attention, it is this simple Mediterranne labelling that does it for me. There is a slight briny note to this Cinsault heavy Rose that makes it perfect for so many of the foods I eat at home. Plus, makes my mouth water, an indicator that it is time for another sip, and who doesn’t want one of those? Simple, basil and fennel notes intertwined with tart strawberries and white peaches. I could drink this wine by the liter and truly wish it came in one.
