Pier Paolo Grasso 2020 "Riva" Langhe Nebbiolo, Piedmont

Pier Paolo Grasso comes from a long family of farmers tending and owning vines in Barbaresco but only started his own winery in 2000. The Nebbiolo for this wine come from a steep, southwest facing vineyard which receives optimal sunlight.  The result is a deeper, darker fruited Nebbiolo with plenty of power and spice yet still fresh and enjoyable.
