The Portuguese Bend Distillery spiced rum is not a sweet rum--definitely not a Sailor Jerry. It is infused with whole ingredients and nothing artificial. It's great in a Cuba Libré or in rum cocktails that normally call for falernum. All of the rums made at Portuguese Bend Distilling start with domestic raw sugar and baker's grade molasses. Those high quality ingredients ensure a flavorful beginning to which the distiller imparts a select yeast strain to create tropical fruit and roasted coconut notes.
