Quivira 2020 Rose, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County
The winemaker for Quivira has a wife that truly loves dry, Provencal style Roses so I'm sure you can understand why Hugh makes it a point to make the very best he can! The grapes for this Rose are all organically grown and grown specifically to make the less than 2,000 cases they make a year.
Made from all organically grown Grenache, Primitivo, Petite Sirah and Mourvedre, this vintage of a long standing store favorite is a little leaner and more snappy version of vintages past. More on the salmon side of pink, plenty of tart red fruit, cut grass and citrus. Not the classic Quiviria but one equally as loveable.
