Champagne Remi Leroy is a fairly new label though the Leroy family have been grape growers in the region for generations. Remi farms all the parcels he uses for his label organically and biodynamically and is known for having some of the healthiest vines in the area. It is his goal to one day farm all the family plots this way and no longer sell fruit to the large Champagne houses, but for now he has only a tiny amount for make and label under his name. This is made from 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay and has only 4 grams of sugar. Lemon custard, oyster shells, citrus rind and toasted bread all with tiny little bubbles and plenty of tangy citrus zest on the finish. Dry, bright, racy.
