Produced from Pinot Noir vines that were planted in 1999, aged in 30% new oak. This smokey little Burgundy is chockful of black cherries, sweet smoked ham, floral notes and just a whisper of underbrush. Amazing energy on the palate, zippy and super vibrant. Deep dark cherry fruit on the palate with mushroom and playful green flavors. Very bright in the mouth with a light to medium body and a tangy finish. The Burgundy wants meat.
