Super aromatic, finesse texture and incredibly regal for Bourgogne rouge.
Such a treat to be able to offer such an affordable wine from one of Burgundy’s most respected wineries. Here you get the bones of great pedigree, the flesh of nobility and the aromatics of a haunting beauty. Supple fruit on entry, ethereal and silky mid palate and nuanced spice, underbrush and layered red fruit. 2014 is a classic vintage so there is plenty of lift and precision making this a striking partner for stewed beef, chicken or lamb dishes. For me however, a thick, pan-seared rib eye steak, dusted with flakey salt is all I need.
