Nearly all of the fruit here comes from the 2013 vintage and all from a Grand Cru village. This is a racy number, even by Suenen’s standards. Blasted with preserved lemon, gardenias, wet river stones and buttery pie crust. Round and slightly oily in the mouth this is a big bodied, mouth filling bottle of Champagne that while drinking brilliantly now this wine can take some years in the cellar without question.
