Sourced entirely from Talley estate Rosemary’s Vineyard. This vintage had a long even ripening season that avoided prolonged heat spikes due to this being the coolest site of all of Talley’s vineyards. This Chardonnay is barrel fermented with native yeasts. Aged on the lees for 15 months in French oak, 20% of which was new oak. Don’t expect overpowering oak aroma’s though as the subtle toast and depth the oak brings is beautifully integrated with the wine. This is still a bright wine with notes of salinity, minerality, green apple, lychee fruit and orange blossom aromas and flavors.
