If you are a South African wine lover you might recognize the label style being similar to that of Hamilton Russell. One of the Hamilton Russell employees began the Tesselaarsdal project in the Hemel-en-Arden Valley, Hermanus, Overberg region. This produced a Pinot that is bright and tight with a stamp of elegance. The wine is clean and lifted with red fruit and tart cherry aromas with a long gentle palate and a mineral drive finish. This wine is graceful but still age worthy. The pinot spends 9.5 months in 100% French Oak barrels.
