What a blend Megan has made for us this vintage! 16% Grenache, 16% Cabernet Franc, 16% Pinot Noir, 16% Mourvèdre, 16% skin contact (1 day) Chenin Blanc, 12% Negrette rose and 8% Barbera. All red grapes were aged in neutral oak for 4-5 ½ months, the Chenin Blanc was aged in concrete egg. Bright notes of cranapple and a rich black cherry fruit up front. Hints of tropical fruit, a blend of melons and soft white pepper. The richness and the acidity play well off each other.
