Abbondanza 2022 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 1 Liter, Italy

“Abbondanza” is what the people of Abruzzo proclaim when their plate is empty and there is still plenty of food on the table or when their wine glass is empty and there is still plenty of wine in the bottle.  It’s the perfect name for this liter size bottle of their easy drinking Montepulciano wine and exactly what you will proclaim when you finish your first glass and realize there’s still plenty of wine left to enjoy!  Abbondanza is pure enjoyment in a bottle with its fruity and herbaceous aromas, its rich yet fresh palate of dark berry fruits and it’s spicy, dry finish that leaves you begging for another sip.   This crowd pleaser is the perfect accompaniment to red-sauce Italian food but can easily wash down a juicy burger, grilled meats or hearty soup. 

Abruzzo is known as “the green lung of Italy” and “the greenest region in Europe” because 33% of its territory is designated as national parks or nature reserves.  The area is quite wild and unspoiled, brimming with forests, vines and olive trees.  Made by the Talamonti family in Abruzzo, Abbondanza uses pergola trained vines, never uses pesticides or herbicides and is Vegan certified. 

The fun label was created by renowned Los Angeles artist Eric Junker who has created murals for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Coach, Target and Tom's Shoes.
