Clos Roquete 2021 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, Rhone Vallley

Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is far more rare than it's red counterpoint but they, can be, just as powerful as some of the reds from the famed region. Made from Clairette, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc, this is a full bodied, but not oaky, bottle of white wine.The aromas roll from blooming jasmine to spiced, poached pears, to hints of citrus rind and a scrape of fresh green herbs. Full texture with a long, palate cuddling finish.
