Dauvergne Et Ranvier 2022 Crozes-Hermitage "Granite Et Galets", Rhone Valley

I have to say, I always look to Crozes-Hermitage when seeking northern Rhone and not wanting to break the ban as it were. Here you have sappy, savory, cracked pepper, violets and a hint of dry cured black olives. Lean on the palate but the acid/tannin structure is gentle making for a easy drinking, not super fruity red that is begging for meats, especially lamb or sturdy mushroom or braised tomatoes kind of situation. Hard to beat at this price.
