Domaine D'Ici LA 2019" La Croisette" Altesse, France

Roughly translated the name of this domaine is "Until then" and they make wines indigenous to the Savoie in France. They have a little Chardonnay and Gamay but their focus is on the regional varieties. Here we have a 100% organic Altesse, a stone fruit flavored variety. Peaches, quince and a very cool saline flavor on the richer bodied finish. All hand harvested and put in small crates to preserve the freshness. A bit on the nerdy wine side but also pretty cool with smoked fish, roasted root vegetables and strongly flavored cheeses.
