Drinks like Meursault, with all that nutty richness, and full texture, but when was the last time you could buy Meursault at under $40.00?! Been forever and this wine absolutely fills the need and at a silly price. Insane not to grab a few bottles.
Description
Burgundy, both red and white, has gotten so rare and pricey I had to raise my eyebrow when I saw the price on this wine, and that was before I even smelled or tasted it. It was u[on that first deep sniff that I knew we were getting in on something. This wine smells, tastes and feels like Meursault. Baked nuts, almost bready, slow, spice cooked pears, supple and sexy in the mouth with a creamy, but balanced finish. Just, Wow. My heart was pounding when I saw that we could have this wine on the shelf for under $40.00. It would be truly foolish, of any white Burgundy lover, not to load up on a couple of bottles, if not more, of this wine.
The Wine Country.
