Domaine Roland Schmitt 2023 Pinot Noir, Alsace

This Pinot Noir is from our most popular Alsace winery.  It has a bright, sparkling red color, and a fresh, youthful nose with a marriage of red fruit aromas (raspberry, Morello cherry), spices, and toast. The palate echoes the luscious fruit. The body of this Alsatian Pinot Noir is supported by supple tannins.  Roland Schmitt’s 2023 Pinot Noir offers immediate pleasure, perfect for a festive evening with friends. It pairs equally well with Italian dishes or a good tarte flambé.  It is a distinctive Pinot to drink on its own, and the winery suggests serving this with tapas, fish, pork and poultry.
