Dos Boots Mezcal Artesanal Maguey Expadin Joven , Oaxaca

If you're looking for a big smokey Mezcal, this isn't it. If you're looking for an Agave forward Mezcal, this is it. Very clean in flavor, you really get to taste the Espadin plant used to make this treat from Oaxaca. Along with the vegetal notes there are hints of minerality, cracked black pepper and touches of soil. While the smokiness of this Mezcal isn't big by any means, there are subtle notes of it throughout. The finish has more minerality and soil characteristics coming out.
