El Enemigo 2019 Cabernet Franc, Mendoza, Argentina

This Winemaking Team is made up of Female Winemaker Adriana Catena (Daughter of Nicolas Catena) and Alejandro Vigil combined their powers and life long loves of Cabernet Franc to create this wine. 93% Cabernet Franc is balanced out with 7% Malbec and is aged in French Oak barrels for 16 months. The nose on this wine doesn’t shy away and is filled with cassis and ripe currants, sweet spice and, a hint of black pepper and clove. The oak integration provides flavors of cedar and vanilla. The juice itself provides flavors of red fruits with hints of eucalyptus and black pepper.
