Firriato 2018 'Harmonium' Nero d'Avola, Sicily

Firriato’s Nero d’Avola is a great example of how Sicily’s most popular red wine can be elevated to an opulent, complex and elegant wine.  Harmonium is a blend of fruit from Firriato’s three best vineyards.   This is a powerful structured wine yet elegant and finessed at the same time.  Aromas of beautiful ripe berry fruits and violets are followed by layers of rich black and red plum fruits with hints of spice and vanilla.   Veins of minerality and acidity keep it fresh and balanced.
