Quinta do Vallado 2019 Touriga Nacional, Douro Portugal

The Quinta do Vallado estate, in the heart of the Douro Valley, dates back to 1716 and has been owned by the current family since 1818.  They produce mostly dry wines and a small amount of Port wines.  This 100% Touriga Nacional is deep and concentrated with rich black and red fruits. The wine is aged 16 months in French oak adding notes of toasted oak and baking spices. Great for fans of Napa Cabs or Paso reds looking for something new and different.
