This Chianti Riserva is for customers looking for a bigger, darker, more oak forward, style Chianti wine.  Fraternita lets the Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes used for this wine fully ripen creating a dense, dark, concentrated Riserva Chianti wine with black cherry and plum fruits and plenty of Tuscan earth. The wine ages 16 months in French oak giving it plenty of tannic structure and notes of vanilla and baking spices.  This is a polished, well-made wine built to pair with a steak or richer meat sauce.
