Bruno Verdi 2021 Buttafuoco Oltrepo Pavese Rosso, Lombardy

This is the flagship wine from Bruno Verdi in Lombardy. Buttafuoco is a blend of Croatina, Barbera and Uva Rara.   Buttafuoco translates to "sparks" and must allude to the explosion of flavor this wine brings to your mouth.  This Buttafuoco is vibrant and fresh and packed with juicy dark red fruits.  Fairly soft on the palate, this is an easy drinking red wine that is great for pizza night, pasta or burgers or just sipping with cheese and salami in the afternoon.   Not to mention Buttafuoco is just fun to say!
