Ambyth & Sons 2022 Sauvignon Bllanc, Santa Ynez, Santa Barabara County

The first thing of note to me in this wine is the minimal amount of tannins it has. Especially for spending 1 month with its skins, I would have expected more texture from them, but what you actually end up with is a rich coating mouthfeel. Big notes of mango pair with light dried herbs and a touch of jalapeno pepper, like you would get in a Sauvignon Blanc from the Southern Hemisphere. More mango and other soft tropical fruit comes out on the finish.
