Ancien 2018 Carneros Pinot Noir, Napa Valley

Expected juicy cherry notes grace the palate and combine seamlessly with anise and hibiscus, ending on a savory note.  The palate is round and full of textural, mouth-coating tannins balanced by a bright acidity.   Soft tannins, fresh berries and subtle earth notes carry through on the palate.  Juicy and hedonistic at release with the balance and richness to age gracefully.
