On the nose and the palate, the profile starts out on the savory side. Flavors similar to tomato leaves and mushrooms are joined by light oak spice to dry your tastebuds out. Light tannins, coming in the form of black olives, then leads the way for soft fruit characteristics. Black cherries and figs give the wine some richness, but due to the elegant balance, the wine doesn’t feel heavy. The fruit is almost secondary in flavor, giving the wine a lot of layers.
