Anthony Thevenet 2022 Morgon Beujolais, France

After several years working in the vineyards and cellars of other great producers in Beaujolais Anthony returned home to his family estate and took over winemaking in 2013. Right from the start he began using natural products, like copper and sulfur, his goal, to produce light, fresh wines that reflect the sandy, gravely soils of his vines. This Morgon is produced from 3 different plots and are aged for 6 months in concrete which helps retain the high energy that makes this wine so alluring. Only 1,000 cases made.
