August's Spirit of the Month - Filmland's Quadraforce Bourbon

August’s Spirit of the Month is Filmland Spirit’s Quadraforce Bourbon. A blend of four Straight Bourbons from four different states, this four grain Bourbon shows the art of blending while also demonstrating how combining forces can take down the threat of drinking something boring. Fresh stone fruits dipped in honey pair with a delicate combination of charred oak and fall spices. Grey tea and bergamot spices add to the vibrancy of the Bourbon. Those soft notes of honey come back around on the finish.  

Filmland Spirits has taken Bourbons from Kentucky, Tennessee, California and a mystery location to create the Quadraforce. All four Bourbons have their own mashbills; one with 78% corn, 12% rye & 10% malted barley, another with 70% corn, 25% wheat and 5% malted barley, a third with 80% corn 10% rye and 10% malted barley. And the fourth Bourbon, just like its origin story, is a mystery. All four Bourbons were aged in American White Oak for at least four years before their flavors were combined to make this flavorful libation. While these Bourbons have been blended together, the folks at Filmland know that each Bourbon had their own personality, which is why they created four different labels to represent their individuality while also making the bottles collectable items. Kentucky Anna, Tennessee Terra, Cali Comet and Mr. Mysteron all have their own label and backstory, making them drinkable Funko Pops.

With Summer Blockbusters like Superman and The Fantastic Four: First Steps breaking box office numbers all over, why leave the Superheroes on the screen when you can take them home an enjoy on the rocks or neat?
