SAKEMAN TO THE RESCUE!
March 4th Sake Superhero Nick Matsumoto (The red masked man) of Sakeman Imports will defeat the notions that Sake can only be enjoyed with Sushi. He will conquer your curiosity of the differences between Junmai, Ginjo, Daiginjo and Nigori. He shall be triumphant in tantalizing your taste buds and opening your mind to seeing Sake as a new household favorite.
When I first met Nick last year the first thing we connected about was the fact that we both wish people would drink Sake more often. Seen more like Champagne with the idea that you need a specific event to enjoy it, Nick and I both believe that Sake should be seen more like an anytime libation. If you’re a fan of crisp, dry white wines that zip across your palate, there are Sakes that can do that too. You like a white wine with a little more fruit and a bigger mouthfeel? There are Sakes that fit that profile as well. From light salads to spicy foods to rich creamy pasta sauces, there is a Sake that can fit with your food. And on March 4th, Nick Matsumoto will have a variety of Sakes for you to discover and enjoy. So join us from 1-4 Saturday afternoon to find your new favorite Sake.
