Tardana is a very tricky variety to work with. It is a slow ripening grape; it took until late November to be ripe enough to pick for the 2022 vintage.
Description
Half of this wine is rested in amphora and the other half is rested in stainless steel with lees for 4 months. Crisp apples and soft apricot create a pleasing mouthfeel. There is some light tannic structure that brings texture to the wine. There is also a ton of salinity on the finish making the overall profile lighter than one would expect from the first sip.
