Broc Cellas 2022 Zinfandel, Wirth Vineyard, Green Valley, Solano County

A blend of 85% Zinfandel and 15% Petite Sirah, 80% of the grapes were fermented whole cluster, 20% destemmed. All the wine was aged in neutral oak for 10 months. Very soft on the palate, but a lot going on. Boysenberries pair with ripe notes of raspberries. There’s a slightly sweet herbal characteristic that reminds me of cherry cola which leads to hints of coco. This is the type of wine you sit with and let evolve on your palate.
