Cantina Terlano 2023 'Tradition' Pinot Grigio, Alto Adige Italy

Cantina Terlano is one of the oldest cooperative wineries in Südtirol-Alto Adige, founded in 1893 with then only 24 farmers.  Now the winery has grown to 143 members and is recognized worldwide for producing exceptional wines.  Each year their Pinot Grigio is a store favorite with its elegance, weight and structure taking Pinot Grigio to new levels.  You won’t be disappointed with this wine with its generous fruit, elegance and zippy minerality.  A great buy!

An extremely elegant Pinot Grigio, combining the freshness of youth with balanced acidity.  Grapes for this wine are hand harrvested with gentle whole cluster pressing.  Clarification is by natural settling, with fermentation in stainless steel. Lees aging follows for 7 months. Aromas of field flowers, melon, and lychee with citrus notes of grapefruit. Similar on the palate with a little creaminess, and an elegant finish. Pair with fish, chicken or veal in cream sauces, risottos, Asian cuisines, pork chops.
