Catch & Release 2023 "Little Beauty" Zinfandel Rose, Sonoma County

My, my, my, how the “white Zinfandel” game has changed. Once a simple, fruity, slightly sweet wine, there are now dry versions of Rose made from California’s beloved Zinfandel, and we should be celebrating that advancement. The nose here is wild, this is a natural producer so there is nothing added, which can give you those yeasty, doughy notes. Bone dry with a light and easy mouthfeel, this is a great wine for cured meats, pizza and meals with an array of flavors like spring rolls or Indian that is not too spicy. Fun to see how far “white Zinfandel” has come.
