Chateau De Trinquevedel 2022 Tavel (Rosé), Rhone Valley, France

The appellation of Tavel permits only rose production so the four generations that have been making the wines at Trinquevedel have mad skills when it comes to producing brilliant rose! A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and a little Clairette, (a white variety) this rose walks that line between being meaty and being graceful perfectly. Lots of ripe melon on the palate with some elegant floral notes and a finish that is all berries and minerals. Weighty enough to serve with heartier red meat dishes.
