"630" refers to the first recorded vintage for little known growing region in the south of France. Made from a blend of 57% Cabernet Franc, 16% Malbec, 16% Merlot, 7% Gamay and 4% Tannat, this is a blend of gentle fruit and rustic, earthy. The aromas remind be of other wines from the southwest, a sort of wild nature where you get some fruit but dried wild herbs and baked stones are right there too. Tart cherries, great energy, easy going and finishes with more earth than fruit. Fun to drink with things off the grill or stews.
