Denis & Didier Berthollier "Exception" 2020 Chignin Bergeron Vin de Savoie, France

Made from 100%, certified organic and biodynamic Roussane, known locally as Bergeron. Aged mostly in stainless steel tanks but there is about 20% that is aged in very old oak barrels to give the wine a little more richness and body. Deep golden color, the aromas are rich with ripe stone fruit and herbs which follow through on the palate with an added complex, bitter almond notes. Nice round body with a beautifully fresh finish. Seafood, gooey cheeses, eggy and potato dishes or decadent soups with cream.
