Domaine Camp-Atthalin 2022 Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er Cru "Les Peuillets", Burgundy

While newer to us the family that owns this tiny estate have been farming vines in Burgundy for 13 generations. I’ve always been a fan of the wines from Savigny-les-Beaune. Something about that particular swath in Burgundy that delivers wines with great pitch, good density, but retain a balancing amount of herbal and wildness. Not as polished as some of the more sought after neighbors, and I kinda dig that about them. This feisty, juicy and wonderfully spiced Pinot Noir gives gobs of succulent red fruit, deeply roasted notes, good density in the mouth but with a long, lacy finish. Organic/Biodynamic
