Domaine Charles Audoin 2022 Bourgogne Cote-d'Or, Burgundy

Charles Audin is a Marsannay producer with holdings at the very north of the Côte d’Or, so this wine has a deeper character than the usual Bourgogne rouge, yet the wine is made in a feminine-style with a lovely Burgundian aroma that draws you in.  It's a pretty Pinot with red and black cherry notes, possessing a handsome middle weight. This certified organic red Burgundy is the kind of discovery we wish we could find more often because of its quality and affordability.
